How soon is this coming? To be honest, I was just about to refund this app because it doesn’t make sense to create tasks and not have an organized way to filter a day or week or month! So how soon can we expect this?

Hey everyone, soon we will be working on a Calendar. Could you please share below in comments in 1-2 sentences which functions would you like first?
A) Link all tasks to an internal calendar
B) Also sync with with Google Calendar
C) Create Google calendar tasks out of liffOS tasks
& More?

Would like for 3 things to be ensured in this feature: > Verify if the task that will be set on Calendar, won't be on top of existing sheduled tasks already (to suggest new date to task, or proceed and schedule at same time) > That we can set our time zone and work hours appropriately > That we can pick dates NOT AVAILABLE to scheduling (so it can force us to change the task date)

For me, this is particularly relevant:
B) Also synchronise with the Google calendar
C) Create Google calendar tasks from liffOS tasks
And also that our time zone and working hours can be set accordingly

I would like to seek integration with the MS outlook calendar and automatically sync as task with an ability to take meeting notes without updating the calendar item back. This is crucial so as the notes would remain private to me especially for the meetings that are not anchored by me and able to prepare for the meetings through these notes.

Hey there Sudhk, we are going to be working on integrating the calendar with other providers after we release it. Currently liftCalendar will be a global calendar where you can create events from your todos, each calendar item will have assignees descriptions and tags. Currently all assignees see all notes under calendar event created but we can also work on private notes as I see it could be useful 🙌

Out of all the calendar view’s I’ve seen, Timestripe has done this the best.
Would be a huge bonus to be able to easily timeblock tasks and make the calendar interactive and nice vs just a clumsy nice to have.

Tags will determine the color of events inside Todo Calendar view.
Calendar events show in todo calendar if date+time is assigned
Calendar events are shown in global if date+time+user is assigned
