You can find the option add more with the (+) and switch between them in the navigation sidebar where your current Workspace is.

Hi Ege. Is it possible to have different wallpaper per workspace? I tried changing one and it affected all others. Having a unique wallpaper will have a visual cue as to the currently active workspace. ;-)

Hey there Gene! This is a personal setting currently your personal settings and profile is identical across Workspaces and that's why its keeping the wallpapers the same as well! Splitting it will take a bit of effort unfortunately 😢
