Improve the comment feature

Feature requests

For Todo, I would like to see improvement in the Comment feature:

  1. Be able to upload attachments to the comment

  2. Be able to support more MD tags like quote, image or even table

  3. Be able to reply to a previous comment on the same thread. (Essentially doing a MD quote, but in an automatic manner)

  4. Be able to tag other Todos in the comment.

    @Ege Gündüz Just as we speak, the comment feature here on featurebase.app is the perfect example of what is a good comment feature.

    Again, the question for you is - imagine the comment feature here on featurebase.app is simplistic, and we are 'forced' to use chat (if there's one) to discuss a myriad of different feature requests, how would you imagine the experience will be?

      Yes you are right, they are separate but it our plan was to expand chat to apps and todo items as well so that you can also chat about a todo item from a central place. This is the exact feedback we are looking for, for the separation of both areas and see if that's preferred. So thanks for sharing 🙌

    @Ege Gündüz Obviously Todo's comment is a separate feature, isn't it? Chat is for unstructured stream of messages. Todo is for discussing things just about that Todo.

    Or you propose that we discuss everything using chat? This is hard to track by item.

    Just like our discussion here. Imaging putting it in chat? How do we keep track of each feature's discussion?

    Hey there @wooncherk thanks a lot for sharing, we have added most of these to the Chat already and was wondering how the comments are being used vs Chat. Do you also use Chat to communicate? Are Chat and Comments both useful or do you use only one of them?
