Full or partial backups

Programs should offer options for recording an actual state by means of a full or partial backup. This can be helpful for transferring segments such as workspaces to other internal / external workspaces. Reasons for this can be central structural changes in the existing workspace, transfer to similar or neighboring internal or external workspaces (e.g. functionally extended workspaces), etc.
