Our user interface is evolving thanks to your feedback đŸĢļ

liftUI 2.0 has been in the works for the past 2 weeks and brings much-requested improvements to working with your tools and people inside liftOS.

Our focus with this update is on keeping the same level of simplicity and organization but improving the flexibility, speed, and ease of use of our user interface.

Watch the pre-update information:

This liftUI 2.0 update will bring:

  1. simplified 1 layer sidebar

ℹī¸ making navigating between spaces easier

  2. Quick app and folder adding option

ℹī¸ to help jot down info quickly

  3. Ability to open apps from different spaces

ℹī¸ to increase flexibility when using tools

  4. Ability to move apps between spaces by drag and drop

    ℹī¸ Flexibility in usage

  5. A new private area to organize personal work or drafts until they are ready to share by dropping it to the “shared” spaces area

ℹī¸ Helps working quickly with tools

  6. No more sections (logic remains but everything is a Space or a folder now.

    ℹī¸ Simplicity

  7. Unlimited sub folders with assignments going top to down

    ℹī¸ Customisation

  8. Removes navbar and instead made a new quick action bar at the right giving apps more vertical space

ℹī¸ Ease of use and speed of use

With this change, we are also fixing many bugs we had with Favourites, Sync Apps, and Home page tools and eliminating lines of code to make using liftOS a faster, smoother, and more enjoyable experience.

When ready, you’ll automatically be transferred to liftUI 2.0 and your data will be fully migrated to this UI keeping your Section > Space > Folder > App structure and translating it inside the new UI automatically.

We hope to share what we have been working with you next week 🙏

Stay productive.
